Turritella

The tight spiral of a turritella shell, cast in sterling silver and polished to a soft shine. Its coils taper turn by turn from narrow tip to open mouth — slow architecture built by the sea, kept here in metal. On a fine silver chain, it sits like a small sculpture against the skin.
